MONTANA SUMMER UPDATE

SUMMER SLIPS AWAY!!!

As our summer winds down in Montana, we celebrated this Sunday (30th) with the interim pastor, Andrew Goodwin. He and his family came for the weekend, morning services, and a potluck lunch. We had 20 in attendance and joined in bidding him God-speed. Alan was in Great Falls leading a Relational Evangelism Conference and one of our regular ladies was out. But, even at that, we had four new faces including two youth from St Regis in the services. Praise the Lord!

Here in Montana the ladies know how to put on the feed!!! We all had a great time at the potluck visiting, eating more than we should and just enjoyed some good fellowship…

The Relational Evangelism Conference was held at First Southern in Great Falls (Aug 29-30). Alan was excited to teach 16 Saturday night, 40+ during Bible Study hour, and 80+ in worship on Sunday morning. One 30 yr old lady came up to him with our old “Meet The Master” album cover on Saturday! She had heard us back in the early 80’s and still remembered--What a hoot! During the worship hour, the Pastor baptized a young man whose father was in attendance for the first time, so Alan threw in as much Gospel as he could. After the service this man told Alan he had never heard anything like it before. So, we are praying for him to come to know the Lord—and hope you will join us on his behalf. God continues to do a new work in First Southern Great Falls, we need to pray for their ministry as well.

Last night the Lord brought opportunity to contact a new family by phone in DeBorgia. New Day was able to help a young single father with 3 children in hopes of building a relationship there. Please pray for Joey and his young children.

This week we are sending out a Postal Patron letter to all the boxes in Haugan and DeBorgia about New Day Fellowship. Please pray for God to use this piece to draw men, women, and families to Himself and to New Day. Also, please pray specifically for the following:
Sept 13 4:30 PM NEW CHURCH START in ST REGIS
Sept 22 6:00 AM Men’s Breakfast begins weekly thru Nov 17
Sept 22 6:30 PM Women’s Bible Study weekly thru Nov 24
Oct 1 11:30 AM Senior Adult Luncheon weekly thru Nov 19
